Cleans up really good.
Figured I should give it a bath, wax it and then clean my filthy wheels.

It took me longer to clean the wheels on my E46 and E90 than it did the rest of the car.
That is until I found a good method from a detailer. Just use a good wheel cleaner and spray the wheels. Allow to soak up as per the instructions and then use a long detail brush to agitate the brake dust. Rinsed off, should be nice and clean.

My wheels have been getting very brake dusty lately. I dread cleaning them..

I love seeing how other enthusiasts go about their washing process. I always go wheels first because it’s my least favorite part of the process.
Wash wheels, wax wheels, interior, wash car, dry car, buff wheels, wax car.

I usually go for the interior, then wash, the wheels, then rewet, dry then wax. Changed it up today and did the wax before the wheels; they’re my least favorite part so I usually save them for last, that way if I get tired of cleaning, I can always come back at a later time and then take care of them.

My 219Ms are a pain to clean.

I used a wheel cleaner, the brake dust came right off. It seemed it wasn’t nessecary as it wasn’t really that caked on.

I never would’ve guessed you drive an E90 M3.

4 door M3, is the best M3.

I’ve got the style 29s

Personally I liked the lines of the sedan a lot more than the coupe. Which you could have probably guessed as that’s what I bought.

Those don’t look that fun to clean either.

Yea, the agitation method with a brush works great for that caked on stuff that may have been there a while. If it’s really caked on there, I’ve used a clay bar to remove stuff that is deeply embedded.

All those things but also: More proportional. More doors.
And you have the most stealth color!

It wasn’t the color I wanted, but it really has grown on me. I look at it now and am like damn that’s a good looking car.

Funny, I thought the exact opposite. I have a non-m coupe, but I think the E90 coupes are some of the best looking of that gen. Especially tarted up a little (M-sports and the such).

Love that color! Some Wolfgang Uber Wheel cleaner or 3D BDX would make short work of those wheels.

Maybe it’s because I like sedans over coupes, but I think the back third of the coupes don’t look as good as the sedans.

Undoubtedly my favorite M3 variant. Looks fantastic!

I had LM reps on my tC. Never again. The 397s on my F30 are like a vacation for my hands when I wash my car.
